It isn't very often that a Kannada film warrants the attention of the other film industries on its own merit. That said, it cannot be denied that the Kannada Film Industry has been doing extremely well for itself in this particular regard as yet another prominent film finds a new audience in the Telugu states.
Following the footsteps of films like KGF 2, 777 Charlie and Kantara is Nithin Krishnamurthy's Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare which is all set to release as Boys Hostel in Telugu on August 26.
The Telugu version's trailer was launched recently amid fanfare with multiple well-known personalities from the Telugu Film Industry in attendance. One among them was Vaishnavi Chaitanya who is currently basking in the glory of the success of Baby, the latest Telugu romantic entertainer also starring Anand Devarakonda and Viraj Ashwin.
"Us Telugu audiences ardently wait for such concepts and so do I. When a film like this, which connects so well to our generation, we all love to enjoy and celebrate it like a festival. So, I am looking forward to the film which arrives in theatres on August 26 and we all must watch it together and enjoy it. Anyway, all the boys here (referring to the crowd) carry so many memories of their hostel days, so let's go relive them together," said Vaishnavi Chaitanya at the Boys Hostel trailer launch.
Along with Rashmi Gautam, Tharun Bhascker, too, plays a key role in the upcoming film and as the trailer suggests, he comes in for Diganth Manchale. Many would know that Tharun's 2018 film Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi has achieved cult status over the years for its dialogues and shenanigans between the four lead characters.
