Barbie Box Office collection day 4: Margot Robbie’s film fails to charm viewers on first Monday

Barbie did not hold at the Box Office on its first Monday. The movie, featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, did not resonate with the Indian audiences and that is seen in its Box Office collection for day four. This movie saw as much as 50% drop in its Box Office collections on its first Monday.

The overall Box Office collections for Barbie currently are Rs. 19.50. This is way below Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which has minted over Rs. 55 crores till Monday.

The first week might be tough for Barbie. The film might earn merely half of the Box Office collections Oppeheimer already earned. Barbie might mint merely Rs. 25 crores during its first week of release.

The movie earned Rs. 4.50 crores on the first day of its release. This is nearly Rs. 10 crores lesser than Oppenhemier’s opening day at the Box Office.

The gap between Barbie and Oppenheimer remained constant. Barbie earned Rs. 10 crores lesser from Oppenheimer even over the weekend. The movie earned Rs. 6 crores on Saturday and Rs. 6.75 crores on Sunday.

The movie had a limited release in India. This is also because the film does not really resonate with the Indian audiences, even if Barbie is a famous brand in India too.

Despite that, the Box Office collection for Barbie on its first Monday was merely Rs. 2.25 crores. The film has little scope of even getting close to Oppenheimer’s collections in comparison.
