It was announced earlier this month that Kavin and Aparna Das are joining hands for a family drama which will have debutant Ganesh K Babu at the helm. S Ambeth Kumar is bankrolling the untitled project under the banner of Olympia Movies, the shooting of which is currently underway in Chennai.

Billed as a fun-filled entertainer, it was revealed earlier that Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee fame Harish and Vaazhl fame Pradeep Antony are playing important characters in the movie. The team has now announced that veteran actor-filmmaker Bhagyaraj and Aishwarya will also be seen essaying crucial roles in the film.

This has come as a surprise for film buffs as the duo is teaming up after a span of three decades. According to a source, both of them will play Kavin's parents in the movie. They were last seen together in Rasukutty which was released in 1992. Bhagyaraj himself had directed the movie which had them playing lead roles in it.

Ezhil Arasu K is handling cinematography for the project which has music composed by Jen Martin and Kathiresh Alagesan at the helm of editing. Shanmuga Raj is in charge of art direction while Arunachalam Sivalingam is handling sound designing.

Producer S Ambeth Kumar is currently busy with Prabhu Deva's action flick Rekla as well. The film which has Vani Bhojan playing the female lead is being directed by Anbu.

On the other hand, Kavin, who was last seen in Akash Vaani (streaming on aha Tamil), will next be seen in Oor Kuruvi, which is produced by Vignesh Shivan and directed by Arun. Aparna Das has Vijay-starrer Beast coming up on April 13. Interestingly, Kavin was one of the assistant directors for Beast.
