Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has shown no signs of stopping down ever since it was released in cinemas on May 20. The horror-comedy with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead is about to reach the Rs 150 crore mark in its third week, a feat that not many recent releases have been able to achieve, especially during the pandemic.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie earned Rs 2.81 crore on Friday and Rs 4.55 crore on Saturday (June 4). He also noted that the movie is performing equally well in both metros and mass belts of the country.

Here is the latest box office update:

Bollywood Hungama notes that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has crossed the third-week collection amount that Gangubai Kathiawadi had made during its run in cinemas. The movie is also the fourth-highest third Saturday-grossers of 2022 after The Kashmir Files (Rs 7.60 crore), RRR (Rs 7.50 crore), and KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 7.25 crore).

Box Office India also mentions that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the fourth highest-earning Hindi comedy of all time after the pre-pandemic releases Housefull 4, Golmaal Again, and Good Newwz

The movie is now going to be competing with new releases like Major (in Telugu and Hindi) as well as Samrat Prithviraj for the audience.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the horror-comedy also stars Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, among others. The film is the spiritual sequel to Priyadarshan's 2007 comedy, which had Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in lead roles. The makers have now announced the third instalment of the film franchise.
