Anees Bazmee recently spoke with Indian Express about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and his upcoming directorial, No Entry Mein Entry, which is a sequel to No Entry.

Anees, who has chosen a new path for his comic attempts by choosing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, honestly said, "To survive, if I don't make films, what will I do? One needs to work today to keep doing something different," he added.

According to the director, it was a major challenge because the original film was so well done. "When someone makes a frame based on an original, it is because the original frame has received a lot of love and has a good reputation," the filmmaker explained.

As the filmmaker began discussing Akshay Kumar and why he did not join the cast, he stated that "Akshay is too big for these small things. Akshay Kumar cannot be replaced and he knows that he is not replaced this time. Akshay has a great body of work over 25 years."

Anees and Akshay have previously worked together in films like Welcome, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and Singh Is King. According to the director, they have a fantastic working relationship and would want to work with him again in the future.

Anees further said that producing Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a major task for the filmmaker because the original headgear set benchmarks.

The filmmaker also stated that the film only has its name from its first installment, and that the remaining actors and narrative are completely different from the original, with the exception of a few elements.

When it comes to adding iconic components, Anees has famous songs in the movies Aami Je Tomar (Mere Dholna) and Hare Ram Hare Krishna with Monjolika.

The filmmaker added to the remark that he would not call it a copy, but that these things inspired him and that he wanted to adapt his film in his own manner.

At the end of the interview, the filmmaker who is writing and directing the No Entry sequel starring Salman Khan returns. According to him, development on the film would begin shortly at its own pace.
