Bigg Boss 16 October 13, 2022 Highlights: Major argument erupts between Shalin Bhanot-Gautam Singh Vig over Soundarya Sharma

Love stories have started developing in the Bigg Boss 16 house. Along with that, there is also a cold war blooming between Shalin Bhanot and Gautam Singh Vig.

The next task is kadvi zubaan and Nimrit picks Priyanka. Meanwhile, Shalin, Tina and Sumbul have a discussion. Abdu shares a goodnight message and the episode ends with that.

Shalin jokes that people are loving his pairing with Archana, which is why Bigg Boss gave him the task. Shiv asks Soundarya to praise Archana's tea. Soundarya, on the other hand, says Archana doesn't make better tea than her.

Sajid discusses that Priyanka speaks the most in the house. As Shalin walks away, Priyanka, Shiv and Abdu tease Archana. Shalin asks Archana to save him when she gets the power and she agrees. Meanwhile, Soundarya discusses about Shalin with Nimrit. Stan, Nimrit, Shiv, Sreejita, Manya and Gori irk Archana again. They are trying to scare her but fail to do so.

Shalin loses his cool on Gautam and says he would 'break his face' if he doesn't sort things out. Gautam says all is cool between them. The two then discuss the actions pulled off earlier in the day. Gautam apologizes and Shalin pushes him down to give a hug.

Archana refuses to talk to Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. She and Sreejita De get pissed off with her. Gautam then confronts Archana and the two sort things out. Ankit and Nimrit tease him saying he sold himself out for ginger. Meanwhile, Sajid continues teasing Abdu. The little one asked Abdu to gather everyone in the living area.

The housemates get a task to name someone who they want to shut up. This turns hilarious since everyone is bound to name Archana. Nimrit goes first and names her. Sreejita, Priyanka, Ankit, Shiv Thakare, Abdu, Soundarya, Manya Singh, Tina, Gautam. Meanwhile, Archana asks Soundarya to shut up. Sajid asks Manya to shut up. Shalin asks Priyanka to shut up for pairing him with Archana in the same room. Since Archana wins the task, she has to shut up with the housemates, literally. As she tries to reason with Bigg Boss, he also asks her to shut up.

Archana is also called to the confession room. Shalin is also called with her. He can earn more chicken if he allows Archana to talk to him. He refuses saying he would have mental issues if she talks to him. He gets chicken for the next week too. Shalin has to wear a hat with a parrot figurine on it to complete the task.

The housemates argue over a bowl of poha. Meanwhile, Tina and Shalin discuss what happened. Tina feels Shalin feels that she is 'emotionally damaging' him and that leads to an argument. She walks away and Abdu tries to calm her down.

Gautam and Archana start arguing again. Meanwhile, Soundarya feels Shalin also likes her. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss asks Ankit Gupta to go to the confession room. He is asked to gossip about his housemates. Ankit feels that Shalin and Tina could be a gameplan.

Bigg Boss 16 commences with Archana Gautam fighting with Gautam Singh Vig once again. Shalin Bhanot is seen taking Archana's side. Meanwhile, Soundarya Sharma gives Abdu Rozik a massage. The friendly cold war between Shalin and Gautam is visible more than ever. Gautam teases him again by calling Tina Datta. He then goes and cuddles Tina. Meanwhile, Sumbul calls Shalin next to her. As Gautam doesn't stop, Shalin also gives Soundarya a kiss. Gautam calls it 'cheap.' He then tells Soundarya she let him kiss her. She instead asks him to not react but Gautam asks her to stay away. Shalin confronts Gautam and the latter says he isn't overreacting. Soundarya, too, is frustrated with how the whole thing has played out. She is not upset with Shalin but Gautam.
