Bigg Boss 16 October 18, 2022 Highlights: Archana-Gori get violent, Sumbul-Manya punished

Shiv Thakare has turned captain and Salman Khan's house has turned upside-down. Archana Gautam, Manya Singh, Gori Nagori and Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary have a major argument.

Here's everything that happened on day 17:

Stan wants to run away from the task. He picks Shalin while Sajid picks Ankit.

Shalin talks to Stan, who reveals that Tina sacrificed herself for him. Nimrit tells Abdu he only does what Shiv and Sajid say. Abdu walks out.

The task is back and the tough decision is here. Sajid picks Sumbul. Stan tells Shiv about his chat with Shalin (about Tina). That is where the episode ends.

Gautam cancels Nimrit, Gori goes with Stan while others are confused. Gautam takes Archana. Soundarya teases him saying he loves Archana. She asks Abdu to marry him.

Shiv discusses with Stan and Sajid how he should take Ankit and Manya but the filmmaker is confused about breaking up PriyankIt. Sajid discusses the same with Ankit, who says she wouldn't be upset. Ankit discusses the opposite with Priyanka and she gets upset at why he can't take both of them.

Archana jokes that Shalin said he would miss her a lot. That makes Gautam and Soundarya laugh out loud.

Tina calls Sumbul and Shalin goes on a guilt trip. Tina asks Sumbul to join them. Sumbul gets upset when Shalin says she is doing things for the cameras. Tina warns him that he's going wrong.

Shiv gives Manya advice. Meanwhile, Shalin walks out and Sumbul starts crying. She is upset with the mask and refuses to own up to it.

Archana starts crying because she took mummy promise and might have disappointed her mother. Abdu, Sajid, Stan and Gautam are the housemates' favourite contestants. They have to replay a scene by SRK. Sumbul and Manya participate in the task. Abdu doesn't only know but also loves SRK.

Housemates get rooms. Gautam gets room of two, Stan three and Sajid-Abdu four. They have to replay DDLJ train scene to decide who gets room of six. The housemates try to convince the four to get them in their room.

Bigg Boss talks to the housemates. The next task is about picking contestants who are missing.

Archana, Gautam pick Sajid and Sumbul, Soundarya, Priyanka, Ankit, Shiv, Shalin, Gori, Tina, Stan, Nimrit, Sajid pick Sumbul and Manya, Abdu picks Archana and Manya and then also picks Manya and Sumbul, Sumbul picks Sajid and Manya, Manya picks Sumbul and Soundarya.

Bigg Boss gives Sumbul and Manya a punishment. They have to wear a face mask.

Nimrit tries to talk to Shiv about bringing up the topic to Bigg Boss. Meanwhile, Shalin tells Archana what Gori did and Gori and Archana have an argument again. Shalin mimics them, taking the entertainment to a new high.

Shiv gets pissed when Archana asks him to interfere. He loses his calm while conveying his point.

Gori is seen giving Stan a hug, when Abdu comes to talk to them. She apologizes to Stan if he is upset because of her.

Gori accuses Archana of throwing vegetables, which upsets her. The two come too close and get physical. Priyanka comes to Archana's defense. Stan takes Gori away. Archana and Gori then tease each other. Priyanka confesses that she threw food. Manya argues with Archana and Gori drops in too.

Upset with her teasing, Archana throws water on Gori and vice-versa. Shiv controls Gori as Archana irks her more.

Before anybody knows it, Gori touches Priyanka, who loses her calm too. Shiv takes Gori aside and Ankit calms Priyanka. Abdu gives Gori a hug. Priyanka comes to argue with Gori.

Still upset, Archana talks to Shiv and Stan calms Gori. Stan comes to argue with Priyanka on Gori's behalf. Ankit pulls Priyanka away as she gets upset. Sumbul and Sajid get entertained from a corner.

Priyanka and Archana irk Gori, who later pours water on Archana's clothes as revenge. Sajid asks Abdu to take the entertainment too. Archana finds it amusing that vegetables are burnt now. Archana is upset because Gori got in between her fight with Manya.

Bigg Boss 16 day 17 commences with Tina Datta questioning captain Shiv Thakare's tone. Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, on vessels duty, picks a fight with Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. Meanwhile, Shiv talks to MC Stan about his issues. Abdu Rozik also questions Stan what happened and then gives him a hug.

Shiv asks Gori Nagori to state what she's angry for. Ankit Gupta, Sajid Khan and Sumbul Touqeer Khan are pissed with Abdu who finds any opportunity to sing Chota Bhaijaan. Ankit calls it 'irritating.'

Archana Gautam and Priyanka have an argument in kitchen. Archana goes to Gautam, who finds it amusing. Manya Singh also gets in the argument. She states Gori mixed the dals. An upset Manya touches Archana, which upsets her. Shiv and Tina separate the two.
