Bigg Boss 16 October 18 Written Update: Archana Gautam and Gori Nagori have a heated exchange

Day 17 of Bigg Boss 16 begins with Tina Datta challenging Shiv Thakare's captaincy over his tone. While on vessel cleaning duty, Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia get into it. While all this is going on, Shiv shares his problems with MC Stan. Abdu Rozik also enquires about what took place and hugs Stan before leaving.

Gori Nagori is irritated, and Shiv wants to know why. Abdu is mad at Ankit Gupta, Sajid Khan, and Sumbul Touqeer Khan because he always belts out Chota Bhaijaan whenever he feels like it. According to Ankit, it's "irritating."

Priyanka and Archana Gautam had a heated exchange in the kitchen. Archana tells Gautam about it, and he finds it humorous. The conflict involves Manya Singh as well. The dal, according to her, was mixed by Gori. Manya is irritated by Archana's touch because she is irritated. Both are separated by Shiv and Tina. Abdu approaches Gori and Stan, and Gori embraces Stan. She says she's sorry if she's the reason Stan's feeling down.

Archana becomes outraged as Gori accuses her of throwing vegetables. They get too close for comfort and things get rough. Priyanka speaks up in defence of Archana. Gori is left in Stan's care. The two then engage in playful banter. Priyanka admits she's been guilty of throwing food. Gori drops by while Manya and Archana are having an argument. Archana throws water on Gori after he teases her, and vice versa. While Archana continues to irritate Gori, Shiv keeps her under control.

As soon as Gori touches Priyanka, she also loses her composure. Ankit soothes Priyanka, while Shiv talks to Gori alone. Abdu embraces Gori with affection. Priyanka has shown up to debate Gori. Archana, still distraught, confides in Shiv as Stan attempts to soothe Gori. Stan shows up to have it out with Priyanka for Gori. As Priyanka's temper flares, Ankit gently pulls her away. From around the corner, Sumbul and Sajid have some amusement.

When Priyanka and Archana annoy Gori, he gets even by pouring water on Archana's clothes. Sajid invites Abdu to join in on the fun as well. It's funny to Archana that the vegetables are now charred. Archana is frustrated because Gori intervened during her argument with Manya.

Nimrit tries to broach the subject with Shiv before approaching Bigg Boss himself. At the same time, Shalin informs Archana about Gori's actions, which leads to a renewed dispute between the two. They are much more hilarious after Shalin has finished imitating them. When Archana urges Shiv to step in, he becomes enraged. While making his case, he loses his composure.

The housemates hear from Bigg Boss. The next step involves identifying absent competitors. In this game, Archana and Gautam choose Sajid and Sumbul, and Priyanka, Ankit, Shiv, Shalin, Gori, Tina, Stan, and Nimrit. Sumbul chooses Sajid and Manya, Manya chooses Sumbul and Soundarya, and Abdu chooses Archana and Manya. Both Sumbul and Manya received a punishment from Bigg Boss. They are required to cover their faces with masks.

Tina calls Sumbul, and Shalin begins an emotional black hole of remorse. A request for Sumbul's company comes from Tina. When Shalin claims that Sumbul is only acting for the cameras, Sumbul becomes angry. Tina tries to get through to him and tells him he's making a big mistake. Shiv offers some helpful suggestions to Manya. Meanwhile, Sumbul begins crying after Shalin leaves. She blames the mask and won't accept responsibility.

Archana sobs because she promised her mother she wouldn't tell and now her mother might be disappointed in her. Housemates' top four favourites are Abdu, Sajid, Stan, and Gautam. SRK's sequence from the film must be reenacted. Both Sumbul and Manya are involved in the activity. Abdu is familiar with and fond of SRK.

Those residing in a shared dwelling are each assigned a bedroom. Two bedrooms for Gautam, three for Stan, and four for Sajid-Abdu. Who receives room number six is decided by reenacting the train scene from "To Rome with Love." The other residents of the residence make an effort to get the four to come to their room.

Although the rest of us are scratching our heads, Gautam has decided to cancel Nimrit and Gori is joining Stan. Archana is in Gautam's care. Soundarya makes fun of him by suggesting he is in love with Archana. She proposes marriage to Abdu.

When Shiv asks Stan and Sajid for advice on what to do with Ankit and Manya, he finds the director uncertain over whether or not he should split up PriyankIt. Ankit and Sajid talk about it, and Ankit says she wouldn't be mad. Ankit and Priyanka talk about the opposite, and during the conversation, Priyanka gets mad at Ankit for not being able to take both of them.

Archana makes light of Shalin's apparent declaration of his deep affection for her. Gautam and Soundarya both burst out laughing at that. Stan would rather avoid responsibility. In contrast to Sajid's choice of Ankit, he goes with Shalin. After talking to Stan, Shalin learns that Tina gave her life to save Stan's. Nimrit reveals to Abdu that he follows the orders of only Shiv and Sajid. Abida leaves.

The assignment is back, and so is the time-consuming choice. Sumbul is Sajid's first choice. After talking to Shalin, Stan shares the conversation with Shiv about Tina. The episode concludes there.
