Bigg Boss 16 promo: Shalin and Nimrit are at odds; latter says "I will sue you!”

One thing the Bigg Boss 16 house never runs short of is arguments. The current week saw Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia be crowned the new captain of the house, a decision not everyone was happy with. The new captain found herself at loggerheads with some housemates she had grown close to, and Shalin was one of them.

A new promo for the upcoming episode shows Nimrit and Shalin having an argument, which escalates quickly. When Nimrit asks Shalin what his problem is, he replies that he has several. Nimrit takes offense when Shalin seemingly makes light of her depression, which she had opened up about in a previous episode of the show. The captain becomes livid and raises her voice. She yells at Shalin for making fun of her condition and says that Shalin’s true colours are coming out. She then yells out “I will sue you”, addressing Shalin.

The promo was shared on the official social media handles of Colors TV and was captioned “Shuru hoga ghar mein ek naya masla jab Shalin aur Nimrit ke problems takraayege!”

Nimrit had earlier revealed that she had been depressed when she was shooting for her TV series, Chhoti Sardarni. She had said that she had suffered from anxiety and depression for over a year now and was still not completely over it as yet.

Tina and Shalin’s close bond with one another is no secret, and the former had also been at odds with Nimrit a few times after the latter became captain. During Wednesday’s episode, Tina had picked a fight with Nimrit over the kitchen duties.
