Shamita Shetty might have been the only contestant to come back on Bigg Boss. However, she was hiding a secret which was out only recently. During a recent episode of Bigg Boss OTT, she revealed having Colitis.

For the uninitiated, Colitis is a condition of the back. The inflammation of the colon (in the spine) is called Colitis. The situation could be short-term or long-term, depending on the digestive tract of a person. Thus, Colitis fits into the category of digestive diseases.

Shamita was instigated after she witnessed housemates, especially Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh eat her granola in the house. She constantly requested everyone not to eat from her belongings, especially when her name is written on the wrapper. When Akshara complained about not having enough food in the house, Shamita had to explain that she suffers from a condition called Colitis, because of which she needs her special food.

Not just Shamita but even singer Neha Bhasin, who is also a part of the show, has to eat gluten-free granolas because she also suffers from a similar condition. Neha entered the house with a leg injury but there is still no clarity on whether the injury and the granolas are related.

Bigg Boss OTT streams on Voot from Monday-Saturday at 7 pm. It is also available for 24x7 viewing on the OTT platform.

After six weeks and the elimination of a few contestants, Bigg Boss 15 will start airing on TV. Salman Khan will host the show on Colors TV as always once that begins.
