Taapsee Pannu's production house is Outsiders Films for which she joined forces with Pranjal Khandhdiya.
Taapsee Pannu has added one more feather to her cap as the actor has turned into a film producer. Along with announcing her home banner Outsiders Films, the actor also unveiled the title of the first production. The actor will be starring and producing in a film titled Blurr which is a thriller flick. Taapsee shared a BTS video from the making of the first look on her social media pages.
The actor posted the poster and wrote, "And here’s the first one of the slate. The chill to match the thrill! #BLURR! @zeestudiosofficial, #OutsidersFilms & @echelonproduction come together for an edge of the seat thriller. Directed by #AjayBahl, starring @taapsee. @itsvishalrana @pranjalnk #PawanSony @manavdurga."
The teaser video for the announcement features Taapsee on the sets while posing in her costumes during the photo shoot. Ajay Bahl directs the thriller film which is set to be a 2022 release.
Talking about her production house Outsider Films, the actor said in a statement, "With Outsiders Films, I aim to give back to the industry and empower talent who are looking for a breakthrough and come with no background like me."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee is currently riding high in the success of her recently released Haseen Dillruba on Netflix. The film is directed by Vinil Mathew and also stars Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane in the lead roles.
Talking about her upcoming films, the actor will next be seen in a Tamil film Jana Gana Mana. She also has Rashmi Rocket in which Taapsee plays the role of an athlete. The actor is also playing the lead role in Looop Lapeta.
Taapsee also shot for Dobaaraa which is a thriller flick by Anurag Kashyap. She also started working on Shabaash Mithu which is a biopic on Mithali Raj, the ace Indian cricketer.
