Still of Arun Vijay in Borrder

The official trailer of Tamil star Arun Vijay’s Borrder, which sees the actor in action mode, wielding a gun like a pro, was unveiled earlier today by the team of the movie and is currently on its way to going viral.

The team behind the film is quite interesting. Borrder is helmed by Arivazhagan and bankrolled by T Vijayaragavendra under the banner of All In Pictures. The spy thriller has B Rajasekar as cinematographer, Sabu Joseph as editor, with music by Sam CS.

Borrder is Arun Vijay’s much-awaited film, in which he plays a Defence Intelligence Officer on the hunt for terrorists. From the trailer it is clear that Arun’s character is a deeply patriotic man. The movie also features Regina Cassandra in an important role who, and by the looks of it, appears to be in the enemy camp. Regina too is in action mode in the film, glimpses of which were seen in the trailer, where she exchanges punches with Arun’s character. Stefy Patel is Arun’s romantic pair in the film.

Touted to be Arun Vijay’s 31st movie, Borrder promises a mix of action, thrills and edge-of-the-seat moments for its fans. The subject of the film is heavily steeped in patriotism, which was clear right from the word go, when the makers unveiled the first look of Arun’s face embossed on the Indian map.

Borrder is Arivazhagan’s second film with Arun Vijay, after Kuttram 23, and is an out-and-out action thriller with high-octane stunts meant for a big-screen viewing. Deets regarding Borrder’s release date are yet to be announced officially.
