Broken But Beautiful 4 discussions were on with Sidharth Shukla, but will it happen after his death? Makers have this to say

Broken But Beautiful 3 was Sidharth Shukla’s last acting job before his untimely demise earlier this month shook his friends and colleagues in the industry. The makers of the show have now revealed that they were discussing bringing back Agastya and Rumi (played by Sonia Rathee) for Broken But Beautiful 4 and were in discussion regarding the same with Sidharth in August.

Producer of the web series Sarita Tanwar revealed that a ‘happy ending’ was on the cards for the on-screen couple in season 4. She told Indian Express, “Yes, #AgMi was going to happen with a fairytale happy ending. But it was not meant to be,” she said. Sidharth died on the morning of September 2.

Speaking further about Broken But Beautiful 4 the producer hinted that the season might not happen after all. “I cannot imagine Broken but Beautiful 4 without Sidharth Shukla. It is said, ‘It’s hard to turn the page when you know someone won’t be in the next chapter, but the story must go on.’ It’s most true in this industry. However, it’s too soon to even think about it. Broken but Beautiful 3 was his digital debut. Unfortunately, it will forever be remembered as his last release. The song has ended. But the melody lingers on,” she added.

Director Priyanka Ghosh called Sidharth one of her closest friends and said that she was left ‘broken’ after his death and he shall always remain ‘beautiful’.

Broken But Beautiful 3 premiered on ALTBalaji and MX Player in May. The show got a thunderous response from the fans of Sidharth who were eager to see him make his digital debut with the series.
