Buzz: After Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani’s next to be a rom-com called Adal Badal?

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani won the hearts of fans with their delightful chemistry in Shershaah. The duo’s performance in the 2021 film left many viewers wanting more, and fans patiently waited for them to share the screen yet again. And now it seems that their dreams are about to come true.

According to a report in India Today, Sidharth and Kiara will star in an upcoming romantic comedy film together, titled Adal Badal. Touted to be a ‘mystic’ love story, the film’s plot reportedly revolves around a couple whose souls get interchanged one day. A source told the portal that the film will see the actors in a never before seen avatar, and will involve a lot of visual effects and CGI.

Sunir Kheterpal will reportedly produce the film. The script for the same was locked and the makers were currently in the midst of location recce. The film would go on floors once the details regarding the same have been ironed out.

To mark the completion of one year after Shershaah’s release, Sidharth and Kiara had done an Instagram live together. During the same, the duo were asked whether or not fans can see them sharing the screen anytime soon. The duo had responded by saying that they hoped to do a film together very soon.

Meanwhile, Sidharth is currently keeping busy filming for Amazon Prime Video’s Indian Police Force, which is the first series in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. The upcoming series, helmed by Rohit, marks the actor’s web series debut. Sidharth’s upcoming releases include Shantanu Bagchi’s Mission Majnu, Indra Kumar’s Thank God and Sagar Ambre’s Yodha.

Kiara was last seen in JugJugg Jeeyo. Sameer Vidwans’ Satyaprem Ki Katha, Shashank Khaitan’s Govinda Naam Mera and a yet to be untitled film starring Ram Charan, are some of the films in the actress’ kitty at the moment.
