Cartel stars Rithvik, Tanuj and Monica raise a toast to loved ones at Who is Your Cartel challenge

Cartel has opened to some great reviews and has become a fan favourite. The star-studded cast is being lauded for their performances by their fans and critics. Although the hit MX Player show, rife with gangs and power plays, hits all the moral grey areas, the stars of the hit series, Rithvik Dhanjani, Tanuj Virwani and Monica Dogra in particular, have proved that they are nothing like their harsh on-screen personas, with their adorable partaking in the ‘Who is Your Cartel’ social media challenge.

Rithvik Dhanjani flagged off the challenge with a charming group of photographs of his friends and loved ones with a heartfelt caption. The star mentions how his work on the web series taught him about the lengths people go for their loved ones, and that he would do the same for his own as well, tagging several of his near ones. Calling them his own cartel and family, Dhanjani paid a touching tribute to them.

His Cartel co-stars Tanuj Virwani and Monica Dogra also followed suit with their own notes of admiration for their loved ones. Virwani’s post in celebration of his friends mentions how he has been blessed by their presence through thick and thin, and how they have made a huge difference in his life. A glimpse at Dogra’s adorable photograph of her close friend in her arms, followed by a charming caption of how they ‘even share a playlist’ is enough to understand how she gained the adoration of her fans.

Cartel is a crime thriller that tells the story of five powerful gang families and the subsequent power tussle between them when one of their family matriarchs is attacked. In addition to Rithvik Dhanjani, Tanuj Virwani and Monica Dogra, the series also features Supriya Pathak, Jitendra Joshi, and Samir Soni.
