Shah Rukh Khan’s delightful promotions for Disney+ Hotstar continue, with another new advertisement featuring the star being aired today. Sushmita Sen’s popular series Aarya is also given a shoutout in the ad, and Sen could not hold back her excitement at the mention.

In the ad, which can be viewed on Khan’s official social media handles, Khan once again is seen trying to scout ideas for his OTT platform, SRK+. But he is told that Disney+Hotstar has taken away most stars due to their impressive lineup of titles like Aarya, Special Ops and Rudra. The shows were not only trending but also found themselves in the list of the top five shows this year and last year. This dejects Khan. Anurag Kashyap also makes an appearance in the video.

Sen shared the video on her official Twitter handle, talking about how she found herself in the middle of two of her ‘favourites’ her show Aarya and Khan himself.

Check out Sen’s reaction below:

Aarya marked Sen’s maiden web series, and she received critical acclaim for her performance as the titular protagonist. The series received a nomination at last year’s International Emmy Awards for Best Drama Series. The first two seasons of the show, created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

Khan had made quite a buzz this month when he announced that ‘something big’ was going to happen in the OTT space, leading many to speculate that he would be launching his own OTT app called SRK+ soon. It turned out to be a promotional tactic for Disney+ Hotstar’s new advertisement campaign.

Khan is currently working on his upcoming project Pathaan, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
