Telugu OTT platform aha is gradually making its presence in the non-fiction segment in the streaming universe, besides premeiring a wide array of web shows and blockbuster films. Their latest endeavour is a culinary show titled Chef Mantra, hosted by the popular face on small screen, Sreemukhi, where one could discover the personalities of the tinsel town's biggest celebrities through their food choices and preferences. The five-episode show is all set to commence on aha on November 17, in which actress Regina Cassandra will be making an appearance.
Chef Mantra is special for more reasons than one for aha, for it's the first show to be shot in the brand's in-house brewery. The show is produced by Fictionary Entertainment, co-owned by prominent mediapersons Vrinda Prasad, Hemanth Kumar and Nag. The show will have the celebrity take a trip down their memory lane, discussing their comfort food, preferences across cuisines where they'll be accompained by their favourite chef (who'll prepare a dish of their choice in the show). The other celebrities who'll grace the show include Shriya Saran, Adivi Sesh, Suhas and Nabha Natesh.
This is aha's second attempt at a culinary show after aha Bhojanambu hosted by actress, producer Lakshmi Manchu. Sreemukhi, though a known name in television, will be foraying into the digital space with Chef Mantra. The show is directed by Naga Raju Katta, associated with several television shows ilike Dhee, SaReGaMaPa and Big Celebrity Challenge in the past. Aamil Hemani is the food stylist for the show written by Prabhu Kishore and Kumar. Gnanam is the cinematographer while Ramesh is the art director.
