Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya grosses 200 crores: Ram Charan and KTR to attend the success meet

Waltair Veeraya once again proved that megastar Chiranjeevi is indeed the king of the box office in Telugu cinema. The action drama directed by Bobby has grossed over 200 crores at the worldwide box office and the team is super thrilled with the way the audience has received the film. To celebrate the success, the makers, Mythri Movie Makers, have planned a massive celebration in the city of Warangal, Telangana on the 28th of this month, and plans are being made for the same.

We have come to know that superstar Ram Charan and Minister of IT in Telangana, KTR will be preceding the event as chief quests. Charan is in Mumbai as of now and will get back to Hyderabad to support his dad for the success celebrations. Waltair Veerayya had to make 94 crores to be in a safe zone and the trade expected the film to have a tough time. due to dull reviews But Chiranjeevi and his star power ensured that the film entered the safe zone in just the first week itself.

Waltair Veerayya was released during the lucrative Sankranthi season on January 13th. The action drama also had competition as Balakrishna Veera Simha Reddy was also released a day earlier. But the songs and Ravi Teja's presence ensured that the film takes bumper openings and becomes a big hit at the box office. DSP's hit music and Chiranjeevi's mass avatar attracted the audience to the theaters big time.
