Citadel: Did Richard Madden actually throw a knife at Priyanka Chopra Jonas? Her reaction

The Citadel first trailer caught everyone’s attention thanks to Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ love-hate relationship. While there is a lot of love and passion, there are also scary moments with the two involved. One of them is with the knife.

In the clip, Richard is seen throwing a knife Priyanka’s way. She ends up dodging it, which proves that she is a secret agent.

During their Indian press conference for the upcoming series, Priyanka spoke about the sequence. She gave her reaction to the scene.

She said, “Well, I had to really trust Richard that he won’t stab my face when he threw that knife. Can you imagine that you are standing and you have your co-actors throwing a knife?”

“You know I’m joking. It was a CGI knife. He didn’t throw one on me,” the actress clarified.

Priyanka also believes in the magic of movies and spreads knowledge about the same. She explained, “I learned that with smoking mirrors and movie magic, you can make anything happen. Movie magic is a real thing. It looks extremely authentic but was just Richard pretending to throw a knife.”

Citadel is inspired from Cronin’s novel of the same name. The action-packed spy series has six episodes.

The Hollywood version stars Priyanka and Richard in the lead roles. It is helmed by the Russo brothers.

Meanwhile, Citadel is also announced in India. That is directed by Raj & DK. Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu play the lead roles in the Hindi series.
