Fans of Challenging Star Darshan are currently completely focused on his next, currently called #D56, which is being directed by Roberrt maker Tharun Kishore Sudhir. Produced by Rockline Venkatesh, the in-production film is said to be based on a real-life incident and is set in the 70s. Darshan is paired with veteran actress Malashree’s daughter Radhana Ram in the film. Not much is known about the film, the title of which is set to be revealed on February 16, which is the Challenging Star’s 46th birthday.
Industry trackers had earlier claimed that the title of the film would most definitely be Kateera, with another option, Chowdayya, also popping up. This was dispelled by a post on what is believed to be the official social media handle of the film that the title is not anything fans have been speculating and that all would be revealed on February 16. While this has put an end to all the guess work surrounding the title, fans have now turned their attention to figuring out who could handle the major responsibility of the music of the film. As a filmmaker, Tharun had multiple music directors working on his debut Chowkaa, including Arjun Janya, V Harikrishna, Anoop Seelin, V Sridhar and Gurukiran. For Roberrt, he got Arjun to compose the songs, while V Harikrishna handled the BGM.
The question, then, is, will Tharun go back to the tried and tested and collaborate with someone he’s worked with before or will be look at mixing things up. Fans are firmly of the belief that Tharun will look at a change for #D56 and reckon that Vikrant Rona and Kantara composer Ajaneesh Loknath could be the lucky one. There are others who think that Charanraj will be a better bet, but there’s also a section that believes that Tharun may just go back to Harikrishna after all.
