The Alia Bhatt starrer Darlings has garnered immense praise and applause from the audience as well as critics. The makers have unveiled multiple promos and songs from the film, meanwhile, now they have dropped a BTS video that sees this small world being created.
The video begins with the script reading in a small room between Alia and Shefali Shah in front of crew members. Moving on, director Jasmeet Reen explains her vision of the movie and the world she created for Badru (Alia) and her dear ones. She further explains how she wanted the mother-daughter relationship between Shamshu and Badru to be.
She also mentions, "I always wanted to talk about the message of violence against women. I wanted to tell it as a dark comedy. I approached red chillies with the script and we went to Alia, and Alia connected with it, she also came in as a producer."
Later, Alia shares that Darlings chooses her to be the producer and it was a very big decision to make but it happened very naturally and very casually.
However, talking about the movie and its story, Vijay Varma mentions that absolutely loves the story of the film but not his part. He plays Alia's abusing and dominating husband in the Darlings.
Roshan Mathew called the Jasmeet K Reen directorial super entertaining and brilliant, while Shefali confesses that she fell in love with it and there was no going back from there.
