Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for two back-to-back releases after about a four-year-long hiatus from the silver screens. While today Ranbir may be reportedly charging a fee of between Rs 18 crore to 20 crore per movie (apart from a share in the profits), not many know that the first paycheck he received was for Rs 250.

In his recent video interaction with Mashable India, Ranbir Kapoor answered some of the most googled questions about him, one of them being about the first paycheck that he received. The actor shared that it was while he was an assistant on the sets of his father Rishi Kapoor's film Prem Granth. "My first paycheck was for Rs 250 that I got while assisting on Prem Granth," he told the publication.

Further talking about what he did with his first paycheck and his mom Neetu Kapoor's reaction, the actor went on to add, "Like a good boy, I went to my mother's room and put it on her feet, and she looked at it and she started crying. It was one of those filmy moments that I performed."

In response to another question, Ranbir revealed that his biggest pet peeve is "being wet". "There are so many films I've rejected because there were underwater scenes or there were a lot of scenes in the rain. I just don't like getting wet."

Ranbir's last theatrical release titled Sanju hit the theatres back in June 2018 and now he's all set to amaze his fans with Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra and Karan Malhotra's Shamshera. Ranbir will be seen paired with Vani Kapoor in Shamshera while Brahmastra has Alia Bhatt playing his leading lady. While Shamshera will release on July 22, the much-awaited mythological drama Brahmastra will come to life on the screens on September 9 this year.
