Director Pawan Kriplani’s next titled Gaslight will star Sara Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey

After working with Saif Ali Khan in his directorial Bhoot Police, Pawan Kriplani is all set to work now with Saif’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. According to Bollywood Hungama, his next project Gaslight will feature Sara along with Vikrant Massey and will be produced by Ramesh Taurani under his banner TIPS Films.

The details of the movie are under wraps for now. After the name of the movie was out, producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed the news and said, “The Pawan Kriplani directorial featuring Sara and Vikrant has been titled Gaslight.” The producer went ahead and revealed a few more bits about the movie and said that besides Sara and Vikrant, there will be a senior actress who will essay a very different role being a parallel lead in the film. The movie is expected to go on floors by October 5 this year.

Sara Ali Khan is currently busy with several professional commitments. She recently completed the shoot of her upcoming movie Atrangi Re featuring Akshay Kumar and Dhanush in the lead roles. Vikrant Massey on the other hand is also working on the film Forensic with actress Radhika Apte. The actor was last seen in 14 Phere along with Kriti Kharbanda.

As for director Pawan Kripalani, the trailer of his movie Bhoot Police went up recently and received mixed reactions. The movie is a blend of comedy and horror genres, while some say Bhoot Police will have the formula right, others are not keeping their hopes high. The movie stars superstars such as Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez and is expected to be released on September 17 on Disney+Hotstar.
