Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is counting down the days until its release, promising to crack the multiverse’s secrets wide open. The film teases a deep dive into some dark and frightening aspects of the mysterious multiverse, and the makers have given more than enough glimpses into the thrill ride in store for viewers. The makers have unveiled a new clip from the upcoming film recently, which shows a heroic battle between our heroes and a colossal monster.
America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) is shown in a dire state, being chased by a one-eyed creature called Gargantos. When the monster grabs at her, Wong (Benedict Wong) comes to her rescue. As Wong and the monster face off, Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), arrives in the nick of time, and the trio double down on their efforts to take Gargantos down.

The upcoming film, a sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange, will revolve around the turmoil that takes place in the aftermath of the events in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). Strange travels to the multiverse, and is faced with a new enemy.
In addition to Cumberbatch, Wong and Gomez, the upcoming film also features Elizabeth Olsen,Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Stuhlbarg and Rachel McAdams reprising their roles from the previous MCU films. The upcoming film is helmed by Sam Raimi, who is popular for helming the original Spider-Man trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire. Michael Waldron has penned the film’s script.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released in theatres on May 6, 2022. The film will be released in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
