Apple TV+ is gearing up for their K Drama and it's titled, Dr Brain. The trailer for the upcoming series has been unveiled by the streaming platform and it's all things thrilling. The series features Lee Sun-Kyun of Parasite fame and is helmed by Kim Jee-Woon who has earlier directed The Age of Shadows, A Bittersweet Life and A Tale of Two Sisters. The trailer features a lot of twists and turns making it an exciting watch.
In the trailer, we get a glimpse into a mind-bending journey with a genius neuroscientist who navigates through other people’s memories in search of the truth.
The series is also touted to be a live-action web series and is based on the popular Korean webtoon of the same name Dr Brain.
In the series, a brain scientist named Hongjacga suffers from a horrific personal tragedy when his family meets with a mysterious accident. He is desperate to know what happened and thus goes to extraordinary lengths to solve the tragic mystery by conducting experiments like 'brain syncs' with the dead to access their memories for clues.
Dr Brain also features Lee You-young, Park Hee-soon, Seo Ji-hye, and Lee Jae-won in pivotal roles.
Director Jee-Woon is also serving as executive producer along with Samuel Yeunju Ha and Jamie Yuan Lai for Bound Entertainment, Ham Jung Yeub and Daniel Han for StudioPlex, Joy Jinsoo Lee and Min Young Hong for Kakao Entertainment and Antonio HW Lee.
While Kim Jin A and Koh YoungJae have penned the show.
Along with the trailer, the makers of Dr Brain have also announced the streaming date of the show. The series will be out on Apple TV+ on November 4, 2021.
