Drishyam 2, starring Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, and Tabu, and directed by Abhishek Pathak, will hit theatres on November 18, 2022. Vijay Salgaonkar, an iconic character in Indian cinema, is going to take us on yet another fascinating voyage on November 18, this year. This sequel promises to up the ante in terms of thrills, drama, and excitement, taking Vijay and his family's journey to new heights.

Abhishek Pathak directed the film, which stars Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, and Ishita Dutta, among others. Today is the last day of filming in Hyderabad for the crew.

Viacom18 Studios is proud to present Drishyam 2, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Sanjeev Joshi, Aditya Chowksey, and Shiv Chanana for Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Panorama Studios.

Talking about the franchise, Vijay, Ajay's character in the play Drishyam, convinced everyone that his family was on vacation, which turned out to be a brilliant scheme to spare his family from a murder conviction. The audience was guaranteed to remember what the Salgoankars did on October 2 and 3.

In the sequel, the actor is expected to reprise one of his most intriguing roles and continue in Vijay's footsteps. The plot takes the viewers on a journey that leaves them wondering what might be on their way out this time. It accomplishes more than the original and aspires to have a global impact beyond localised audiences. It evokes a specific atmosphere and topic, making the picture appealing to a global audience.

Drishyam 2 picks up seven years after the events of the first film and puts Vijay's resolve to defend his family to the test. In every manner, this film aspires to do justice to the 'crime-thriller' genre.

The first instalment was directed by the late filmmaker Nishikant Kamat.
