Emergency Poster Out! Shreyas Talpade to play Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the film

Yet another poster from Kangana Ranaut’s directorial venture Emergency is out! Kangana revealed through her social media account on Wednesday that actor Shreyas Talpade will be starring in the film opposite her portraying the role of young Atal Bihari Vajpayee. 

Shreyas took to his Instagram handle to share the official poster from the film. He captioned the image and wrote, “Honoured & Happy to play one of the most Loved, Visionary, a true patriot & Man of the masses…Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. I hope I live up to the expectations.

Apart from directing the film, Kangana Ranaut will also be seen playing the role of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The makers had previously released a poster showing Ranaut as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi a few weeks ago that went on to create a lot of buzz owing to the resemblance of the actress with the late Prime Minister. Emergency also stars veteran actor Anupam Kher as Bharat Ratna Awardee Jayaprakash Narayan.
