Ever since Darshan’s film Kranti was launched in October last year, the team has maintained radio silence about it, revealing no details about it at all. The film, which reunites Darshan with the makers of Yajamana, producers Shylaja Nag and B Suresha and director-music composer V Harikrishna, is apparently about irregularities in the education system and pairs the actor with Rachita Ram yet again.
Tomorrow, on the actor’s birthday, the moment his fans have been eagerly looking forward will be here. The team will release the first look of Kranti at 10 am on February 16. Taking to social media, Shylaja posted, “Releasing #MediaHouseStudio’s #Production #10 #Kranti #FirstLook starring #ChallengingStarDarshan tomorrow, the 16th February 2022 at #10am on #DBeatsMusicWorld #Youtube channel.” Fans were aware that the first look was on the way on Darshan’s birthday, as the actor had shared the news a couple of days ago via a video on his social media handle, while also telling them that there would be no grand celebrations this year, given that he and everyone else in Karnataka is yet to come to terms with the tragic loss of Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar only months ago.
The Challenging Star’s fans will quite literally have a double bonanza tomorrow, because shortly after the first look of Kranti, there will be an update on his next, #D56, the Tharun Sudhir directorial that will be produced by Rockline Productions. Speculation has been rife about whether Tharun’s film is a historical on a freedom fighter, or if he’s making a different movie altogether. Calling it a ‘sensational announcement’, Tharun had posted that a theme poster of D56 would be revealed at 11 am.
