Exclusive! Ananya Panday: I am going to watch Liger with the audience in theaters and celebrate

Not just her Instagram bio, Ananya panday is in real life, a serial chiller too. 

The Bollywood actress, who was recently in New Delhi as part of her multi-city fan tour for Liger, spoke to OTTplay during a press conference that was held in the city on Monday.

When we asked Panday—whose last OTT outing Gehraiyaan has earned her rave reviews from critics and fans alike, about the much-talked-about pre-release nervousness—she candidly said that she is excited and raring to go. 

"I don't know what I am feeling right now. Because, you know, we have travelled so much and received so much of love. I am feeling blessed, i am feeling defintely excited and a little nervouse, you know. I wonder logoko film kaisi lagegi, how are they goling to like our performances. But, I think we have made an honest film and made it from our hearts. Lifer is a very happy and fun film. And I think, of course, people will definitely like the film. So, I am really excited and actually watch it with the audience in a film theatre and celebrate the movie. That't what I am looking forward to the most," ashe told OTTplay.

For the unversed, Liger is a sports drama starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishna and has an extended cameo by American sporting legend Mike Tyson. 

Co-produced by Dharma Productions and Charmme kaur, Liger releases in theatres on August 25, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
