Sidharth Malhotra, who is basking in the glory of his release Shershaah, has now moved on to two new exciting projects, one of which marks his debut with iconic actor Ajay Devgn. The actor, while talking to OTTplay exclusively, revealed why he could see his Thank God co-star Ajay is a director. Sidharth called the iconic actor 'technically sound.'
Calling the film a 'slice-of-life' with a message, the actor shared, "Ajay is such a technically sound actor that he adds to the complete film. Of course, he's a great performer but he also guides and makes suggestions on set, all for the benefit of the film. I could see him as a director."
Stating that he is awaiting the release of Mayday, the actor added, "I connected with him on a more genuine level. He's a senior actor who's so passionate. I'm really looking forward to presenting ourselves for the first time on screen with Thank God."
Sidharth also praised Inder Kumar stating, "It's a new zone for Inder Kumar sir and for me. We've got humour but also lovely messaging and heart to it. We don't know in the current situation what will be released when but as of now, we're making them."
Apart from Thank God, Sidharth is also shooting for Mission Majnu. The film is directed by Shantanu Bagchi and produced by RSVP.
Talking about the project, Sidharth shared, "It's a spy thriller based in the 1970s. It's a mission that RAW did for India at that time."
