Faadu: Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari thanks ‘known, unknown well wishers’ for all love and appreciation for teaser

Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and the cast of the upcoming web series Faadu shared a short glimpse of the series on their social media accounts yesterday and it is ruling the internet. In the teaser, Saiyami Kher is shown giving a magnificent poetic monologue, while Pavail Gulati can be seen wounded in a hospital bed, and looking at the actress with love.

As soon as the teaser was posted, everyone responded in the comments section, appreciating multiple elements of the teaser. The director is touched with the responses that the team has been getting for their teaser. The director took to social media to express her gratitude with an emotional post for the fans who are loving the teaser.

Sharing a still of the title page on Instagram, she wrote that the response for the entire team of passionate project, Faadu has been heartening. “It just wants me work harder and evolve as a storyteller. Thank-you & Gratitude :),” reads a part of her note.

Faadu, a web series produced by Studio Next, will mark Ashwiny's directorial debut on OTT. The script is written by Saumya Joshi, a poet, playwright, and filmmaker. In 2017, Ashwiny directed the popular Bollywood film Bareilly Ki Barfi. She is also the director of the 2020 film Panga.

On the work front, Saiyami debuted in Bollywood with Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra's Mirzya, co-starring with Harshvardhan Kapoor. Tahira Kashyap will helm her future film, Sharmaji Ki Beti.

Meanwhile, Pavail made his Bollywood Hindi film debut in 2010 with Hide & Seek. He quickly moved on to cinema and television programmes such as Yudh and Ittefaq. The actor rose to prominence in the industry in 2020 with the film Thappad, in which he co-starred with Taapsee Pannu. He will next also appear in Vikas Bahl's next film Goodbye.
