A few months ago, the makers of Fall, had unveiled the first look poster of the series. Anjali plays the female lead in the project which is based on the popular Canadian mini series Vertige which was released a decade ago. Siddarth Ramaswamy has directed the series which has been bankrolled by Banijay Asia and Raj Narayanan under Circle Box Entertainment.

SPB Charan, Santhosh Prathap and Sonia Aggarwal essay pivotal roles in it which has music composed by Ajesh Kumar and editing handled by Kishan C Chezhiyan. Namita Krishnamoorthy, Thalaivasal Vijay and Poornima Bhagyaraj among others will be seen essaying notable characters.  

Its story revolves around a young woman who loses memory after she falls off terrace. She hardly recognizes her dear ones, and finds herself in a mess. Later, she learns that a few acquaintances tried to kill her, but in vain. Not knowing who to trust, she takes a bold decision, leaving everyone around her stunned.

Fall will drop on Disney+ Hotstar on December 9 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi. This is the second consecutive project of Anjali to have a direct release on Hotstar. Jhansi, her Telugu project, was dropped on the platform on October 27.

The actress had earlier expressed excitement on being part of Fall. Her Twitter post read, "#Fall coming soon to thrill you all. An intense drama that I'm extremely happy to be a part of! (sic)."

Anjali's next notable theatrical release is Shankar's much-anticipated big budget film RC 15 (tentative title), starring Ram Charan in multiple roles. The actress had turned heads earlier this year in a special appearance in one of the songs in Nithin's Macherla Niyojakavargam.
