Fans went crazy when Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan teaser was played on the big screen during Ek Villain Returns - WATCH

The teaser for Shah Rukh Khan's highly anticipated flick Jawan was released a few weeks ago. Since then, the teaser has been generating buzz, and the anticipation for it appears to be building day by day.

A video has been making the rounds on the internet recently, showing how excited fans of SRK are awaiting his movie to reach theatres. The video shows that the audience bursts into hooting and screaming as the Jawan trailer appears on the screen.

According to the tweets, the clip was shot at Malegaon Mohan Theatres, when the spectators were watching Ek Villain Returns. The video also shows a bunch of people cheering King Khan's teaser by tossing their handkerchiefs in the air, while others remove their shirts and wave them about during the premiere. The video has been shared by several SRK fan accounts on social media.

Jawan will mark the first collaborate between film director Atlee and Shah Rukh. The film, which is considered to be the actor's first Pan-Indian movie, stars Nayanthara as his leading actress.

According to ETimes, SRK revealed that the actress beside him in his upcoming film in a previous Instagram live, without disclosing too much information about the project.

He also stated, "Too early to say. There is still a long way to go. There is not much I can tell you about Jawan except the fact that I am having a great time as an actor. And Atlee, the director, it is a different kind of film. Everybody has seen his work. He makes outstanding mass-oriented films, again a genre I have never done. So, I wanted to try my hands on it. And I think me and Atlee have good chemistry. I bring in some (to the film), and he brings in some. Whatever we have done of Jawan is thrilling and exciting."

Jawan is set to be released on June 2, 2023 in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
