Hari's first film with Arun Vijay, which was tentatively titled AV 33, went on floors earlier this year. The movie is being shot in Rameswaram, Palani, Thoothukudi, Karaikudu and Nagore, with a stellar cast featuring Radhika Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Imman Annachi, Gangai Amaren, Yogi Babu, Ammu Abhirami and KGF fame Ram. It was revealed earlier that the project's first look will be released on Friday at 6pm. The makers roped in 33 celebs from Kollywood, including actors, musicians and directors to release its first look, to celebrate the actor's 33rd project in a grand manner. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead in the movie.

The makers released four posters of the film, which has been titled Yaanai, featuring Arun in a fierce avatar. One poster has him holding knives in both his hands with blood dripping from them while another poster has him in a veshti, posing with a cigarette. Tipped as an action flick set against the backdrop of a village, film enthusiasts hope Hari will make a comeback with this film. The director's previous outing, Saamy 2, the sequel to his own Saamy, starring Vikram in the lead, was a damp squib at the box office.

Interestingly, Yaanai will have a Telugu dubbed version as well. The makers have released the posters for Tollywood version, too, which has been titled Yenugu. A few films of Hari, like Singam, Singam 2 and Poojai fared well at Telugu box office, and makers hope to capitalize on the craze for his films there with Yenugu. Produced by S Sakthivel under the banner of Drumsticks Productions, Yaanai has music by GV Prakash, cinematography by Gopinath and editing by Anthony. Arun has Arivazhagan's Borrder and GNR Kumaravelan's Sinam in his kitty. The former has him playing an army officer while the latter has him in the role of a cop.
