Bruce Willis refutes claims of selling his digital likeness

Actor Bruce Willis has rejected reports that claimed that he sold the rights to his digital likeness to a deepfake company called Deepcake. Last month, several reports alleged that the Die Hard actor had become the first Hollywood star to allow the creation of his ‘digital twin’. For the unversed, deepfake technology uses artificial intelligence to replace an existing image with another person’s likeness.

Screening of Will Smith’s Emancipation held

Apple held the first screening of Emancipation, a film that stars Will Smith as an enslaved man who tries to escape slave hunters and seek freedom. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film has already garnered positive reviews with several critics labeling it a ‘powerful’ film. Emancipation is one of the many film’s of Smith that hung in the balance after the infamous ‘slapgate’ incident at the Academy Awards earlier this year.

Adipurush teaser shows Prabhas as Lord Rama and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana

The teaser of the highly anticipated mythological film Adipurush shows Baahubali star Prabhas as Lord Rama. Helmed by Tanhaji director Om Raut, the film is based on the Indian epic Ramayana and is set to hit theatres next year on January 12th. Saif Ali Khan essays the role of Ravana, while Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh play Sita and Lakshmana, respectively.

Revathy's Salaam Venky to release on 9 December

Veteran actress Revathy’s Salaam Venky starring Kajol is certainly one of the most anticipated films of the year. The release date of the film has finally been confirmed as December 9th. The film is based on a true story about a mother who must overcome several adversities in life. Aamir Khan will reportedly make a special appearance in the film.

The popular medical drama series The Good Doctor is returning for a sixth season this week. Starring Freddie Highmore as Shaun Murphy, an austic doctor at the fictional San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital, the series has garnered major fan-following over the years. The sixth season will drop on SonyLiv on Tuesday, October 4th.

Derry Girls S3 - Netflix

Are you a fan of the British teen comedy Derry Girls? Then we have good news for you. The third season of the popular series is premiering on Netflix this Friday. The series follows five teenagers who study at the fictional Our Lady Immaculate College in Derry, Northern Ireland during the mid-1990s, at a time when the civil unrest in Northern Ireland called the Troubles was finally coming to an end.

The Midnight Club - Netflix

Mike Flanagan, who is best known for directing horror films such as Gerald's Game, Hush, and the horror anthology series The Haunting,and Midnight Mass is returning with another series titled, The Midnight Club. The horror series is based on Christopher Pike’s 1994 novel of the same name. The series will drop on Netflix on October 7th.

Prey Disney + Hotstar

Prey, the fifth installment of the Predator series, is premiering on Disney+ Hotstar this Friday. The prequel film directed by Dan Trachtenberg stars Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Dane DiLiegro, Michelle Thrush, and Stormee Kipp, among others.

Gaalipata 2 - Zee5

Kannada film Gaalipata 2 starring Ganesh, Anant Nag, Diganth, Pawan Kumar, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Samyuktha Menon and Sharmiela Mandre is set to make its OTT debut on Zee5 on Wednesday. The film revolves around a group of friends who try to help their teacher find her son.

Maja Ma- Amazon Prime Video

Madhuri Dixit is back with a family drama titled, Maja Ma. Dixit plays a middle-class housewife and mother in the film that also features Gajraj Rao, Rajit Kapoor, and Srishti Shrivastava. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 6th.
