Netflix reveals the new faces of The Crown in new Behind-the-Scenes video

With only a week left for the new season premiere of Netflix’s The Crown, there is plenty surrounding the series. Netflix just released a behind-the-scenes video revealing the new faces of the season. The biggest additions are definitely Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana. Imelda Staunton portrayed the infamous Dolores Umbridge in the Harry Potter films whereas Elizabeth Debicki made quite an impact with her role in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet.

Jennifer Lawrence is back with some amazing new projects

Jennifer Lawrence has been relatively inactive in her professional life these last few years, fully focusing on herself and the people around her. Apparently, the Academy Award-winning actress was just being patient for something new and ambitious. There are already talks of three new projects from her, one being Apple TV+’s PTSD-centered drama Causeway by Lila Neugebauer which releases on November 4. Not much information has been revealed on the other two projects.

Emma Roberts and Geoffrey Rush to appear in Frank Coraci’s action comedy Verona Spies

Emma Roberts has become one of the most sought-after actors in recent years,after earning plaudits for a variety of roles in multiple genres. She is now putting on her spy shoes and will star in a Frank Coraci movie Verona Spies. She will be portraying the titular role of Verona, a "lovable hot mess" who is set on a mission to seduce a pharmaceutical executive and get him to reveal the formula for a new miracle drug. The Oscar-winning actor Geoffrey Rush is also joining the cast.

David Duchovny Joins the cast of Irving Franco’s Adam the First

The Irving Franco-directed and written drama, Adam the First gets a new cast member. David Duchovny, star of the iconic sci-fi series X-Files, is joining the cast alongside T.R. Knight and Oakes Fegley in this upcoming movie. The movie revolves around the titular character Adam who embarks on a cross-country road trip after the murder of his foster parents. He is on the lookout for several men, one being his long-estranged biological father.

Russo Brothers The Electric State gets new names added to its cast list

The Russo Brother’s Electric State gets new additions to their cast. The science fiction road trip movie will also feature Giancarlo Esposito, Ke Huy Quan, Anthony Mackie and Billy Bob Thornton. Stranger Things and Enola Holmes star Millie Bobby Brown will be playing a girl in search of her lost brother across America in the aftermath of a war between humans and robots. She will be joined by Chris Pratt who plays a smuggler who joins her in her quest. Esposito will portray a drone-controlling villain whereas Ke Huy Quan portrays a doctor. However, Michelle Yeoh had to leave the project due to scheduling conflicts.

Jean-Claude Van Damme to star in new action film Silent Kill

Everyone’s favourite 90s action star Jean-Claude Van Damme is back with a new action feature Silent Kill. Directed and written by Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth’s Anthony Hickox, the film revolves around four mercenaries who come across a hidden treasure in Congo and decide to bury it and retrieve it after three years to split the fortune equally. Unfortunately, things don't go as per plan and chaos ensues. Joining Van Damme will be NFL star-turned-actor Vernon Davis, along with Rafael Amaya, and Madalina Anea.

Sandman season 2 announced and The Last of Us release confirmed

The popular Netflix adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s iconic graphic novel The Sandman has finally been confirmed for a second season. There were concerns that the series might not be renewed due to its high production cost, but much to the relief of the fans Dream will be returning for season two.

HBO made a shock announcement last night that the highly anticipated TV series The Last of Us will premiere on January 15, 2023. Based on the critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic video games, the series stars Game of Thrones alum Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in lead roles.
