'Armor Wars' to take a spin on the comics mythology says Don Cheadle

Marvel Studios has been surprisingly mum regarding their forthcoming series Armour Wars which is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. In a recent interview, Don Cheadle disclosed that although the plot will be adapted from the comic books, MCU will add their own flourishes to the project. Cheadle, who plays the lead in the series, also commented on how Marvel is slated to give a signature twist to the classic mythological tale and create something that has never been imagined.

Paper Girls subscription gets cut off by Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video has made a controversial cut and has decided to shelve the popular show Paper Girls. The one season-old series is adapted from comic books by Cliff Chiang and Brian K. Vaughan. Legendary Television, the studio behind the show is rumored to be in collaborating talks with other streaming platforms to take the series forward. Fans of the series are left wondering if this news is authentic or will the show never return. We have our fingers crossed.

Charlie Hunnam sets expectations straight about a 'Sons of Anarchy' narrative in India for 'Shantaram'

Gregory David Roberts’ bestseller Shantaram is all set to make it to the screens. The eponymous series that follows an Aussie bank robber who flees prison and his past to travel to India. It is here that he finds love and is compelled to pick between a life that comes with love and freedom or face the ramifications of his mistakes. In the first look released by Apple, Charlie Hunnam was seen on a motorcycle which led fans to believe that it would possibly have a Sons of Anarchy-esque setting in India. But Hunnam was quick to clarify that it is definitely not what the series is slated to be like. In fact, he also added that the actor is seen on a motorbike only in a two-minute sequence in the series.

Villain Kang joins the quantum realm with ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to premiere in theatres on February 17, 2023 and has an absolutely bonkers plot with the return of the supervillain Kang being thrown into the mix. Paul Rudd reprises his role as Ant-man but from what we’ve heard, we should be prepared to see him in an avatar that’s far beyond the two movies in the franchise. The movie also marks the debut of Marvel’s phase five which is touted to have more quantum realm madness. Actors Jonathan Majors and Bill Murray also make an appearance in the film.

Much anticipated Indiana Jones 5 will mark the final appearance of Harrison Ford

Hollywood’s legendary explorer Harrison Ford took up the whip and fedora in the 1981 classic Raiders of the Lost Ark, the first film of the Indiana Jones franchise. And the rest is history. Four movies down, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was the last film from the franchise which released in 2008. Much hype has surrounded Indiana Jones 5, the forthcoming film in the franchise, which has been underway for several years. At the D23 Expo, the 80-year-old Ford shared the trailer of Indiana Jones 5 and also declared Kingdom the Crystal Skull follow-up will be the last time he plays the iconic archeologist and explorer on screen. This may have broken many hearts but we can always binge-watch the old Indiana Jones films and reminisce the iconic character Ford has carved with so much conviction.
