Stephanie Hsu shot to fame with her compelling onscreen turn as Michelle Yeoh’s daughter in the critically-acclaimed absurdist drama Everything Everywhere All at Once. The Broadway actress has since bagged several roles in promising projects and now we’ve learnt that she’s been cast alongside Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the semi-reboot film, The Fall Guy. It’s fair to say, it’s all happening here… all at once.

Sandra Oh is joining Ann-Marie Fleming for the new thriller series Can I Get a Witness

Sandra Oh, who was last seen as the naive but sharp Eve in the thriller series Killing Eve is back again with a thriller series that packs a twist. She is teaming up with Window Horses director Ann-Marie Fleming, for the sci-fi thriller series Can I Get a Witness. The show is set in a dystopian future where death happens to be the only way to save the planet. Now that one-line description is enough to get all the sci-fi geeks excited.

Thomas Doherty to star in the romance drama Dandelion

Thomas Doherty is moving on from Disney musicals and has just landed a role in a romance drama. Titled Dandelion, the film will star Kiki Layne from If Beale Street Could Fly in the titular role. Layne will play the lead and will be seen as an aspiring musician here. From what we can tell, this might just be the last-ditch effort to revive her career. The Invitation star Doherty portrays her love interest in this whirlwind of a romance.

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s next film ‘Mister Mummy' accused of plagiarism

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza recently announced their forthcoming film Mister Mummy, a comedy where a man seems to have gotten pregnant in mysterious circumstances. The film has already courted controversy for allegedly plagiarizing the story. Kolkata-based producer Akash Chatterjee has accused the makers of stealing the concept of the movie which he had originally written and pitched under the title Viki Pet Se. Chatterjee has voiced these allegations on social media and pinned T-Series, the music label backing the project, as he had shared the concept with them in 2019.

‘Friday The 13th’ Prequel Series Crystal Lake caught up in legal trouble

Star Trek: Discovery co-creator Bryan Fuller is making the switch from sci-fi to horror. Since 2013, he has been working on a prequel series titled Crystal Lake, set in the Friday the 13th universe. He will be the writer, showrunner, and executive producer of the show. But Fuller seems to have been caught up in some legal trouble over the rights with the original producer Rob Barsamian and screenplay writer Victor Miller. Jason Voorhees fans would only hope and pray that these issues are ironed out so that the wheels are set in motion soon.

'Severance' Season 2 adds Gwendoline Christie, John Noble, Bob Balaban and more

Following the success of the first season, the Emmy-winning series Severance is back with a second season and there are some fresh faces joining the cast. Helmed by actor and filmmaker Ben Stiller, the first season of the series was lauded by critics and audiences alike. While little is known about the direction the show will take in the second season, we’ve just learnt that John Turturro, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, and Christopher Walken have been locked for the show.

How I Met Your Mother star Cristin Milioti joins the cast of The Batman spinoff series

The new addition to the cast of the HBO Max series The Penguin is none other than the ‘mother’ from How I Met Your Mother, Cristin Milioti. She recently starred alongside Andy Sandberg in the hit time warp comedy Palm Springs. Milioti will play Sofia Falcone, the daughter of the vicious mob boss Carmine Falcone. The character was played by John Turturro in Matt Reeve’s The Batman. We already know that Colin Farrell is reprising his role as the infamous Batman villain the Penguin, and the show will be set following the events of the hit 2022 film starring Robert Pattinson.
