Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has opened to positive reception in cinema halls with many hailing R. Madhavan for striving hard in bringing the true story to life. The film chronicles the life and troubled times of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan (and his family) with Madhavan turning director for the very first time in his career and also essaying the role of the protagonist. Rocketry released across the country in both Hindi and Tamil and looks good at the moment to make steady impressions at the box office, despite the stiff competition.
In this vein, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has come voicing his support for R. Madhavan’s latest cause and wished the film all the success ahead. The same report suggested that Rocketry will draw a more niche audience while Rashtra Kavach Om, the other big release this Friday, is likely to cater to the masses. Trade pundits, apparently, are of the opinion that R. Madhavan’s film may not open to massive numbers at the box office but has all the potential to surprise producers and trade analysts with its steady progress. Vivek Agnihotri took to Twitter a short while ago to avow his admiration for R. Madhavan and state that he wishes from the bottom of his heart for Rocketry to do the best at the box office.
“From the bottom of my heart, I wish this happens and I am sure it will happen because @ActorMadhavan is one of the most honest actor. For those who don’t know he was one of the finest debaters and a true patriot,” wrote Agnihotri in his tweet.
