That 90s Show, a 70’s show spinoff is set to premiere on Netflix soon

Fans of the hit sitcom The 70’s Show are in for a treat as the upcoming spinoff, That 90’s Show, has announced its release date with a new trailer. The new show will follow Leia Forman, the teenage daughter of Eric and Donna in the year 1995. The teaser trailer invoked a lot of nostalgia for its resemblance to the set from the original series from the kitchen to the basement, where we are met with a new set of teens enjoying the 90s. The series is set to premiere on January 19, 2023.

Wednesday enters Netflix's Global Top 10

Netflix’s Wednesday was possibly one of the most anticipated releases this year owing to the immense popularity of The Addams Family. The series premiered last week on November 23 with Jenna Ortega playing the titular character of Wednesday Addams. The show has received several positive reviews and has reportedly broken a Netflix viewing record. The show made it to the top of the list of the most viewed hours of a Netflix debut for an English TV series with 341.2 million hours viewed in its first week of release, breaking the record previously held by Stranger Things.

Ed Helms joins the cast of the Netflix Comedy Family Leave

Jennifer Garner is to star in an upcoming body switch comedy Family Leave and Ed Helms is reportedly joining her. Based on Amy Krouse Rosenthal’s book Bedtime For Mommy, the story revolves around Jess and Bill Walker who are trying to keep their family connected but things get difficult as their children grow older, more independent, and more distant. Until one day they wake up to a full body switch on of the most important days of their lives. Garner has played a similar role in the hit comedy 13 Going on 30.

Amazon’s Cross gets two new additions to the cast

Isaiah Mustafa from It: Chapter Two and Ryan Eggold from New Amsterdam has been cast in Amazon’s Prime Video ’s Cross. Based on James Patterson’s novels, the series will star Black Adam star Aldis Hodge as the titular character who is a detective and forensic psychologist. Mustafa will be portraying the character of John Sampson while Eggold plays a charming man named Ed Ramsey.

An Easy Rider reboot is in progress

With several films and shows getting their own reboots, the 1969 film Easy Rider is also getting a reboot. The film will be an updated version of the two-time Oscar-nominated film, starring Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda. The project is in the early stages of development and further details are yet to be revealed.

Channing Tatum, David Leitch, and Simon Kinberg make a deal with Amazon for Spy Thriller Red Shirt

Amazon has shown interest in acquiring the rights to the spy thriller Red Shirt, which has several big names attached to it like Channing Tatum, David Leitch, and Simon Kinberg. Amazon studios have gone up to $50 million to obtain this project which has Tatum attached to star, Leitch attached to direct, and Kinberg writing. They are also set to produce the film under their respective banners.
