Gandhada Gudi has proven to be a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience for moviegoers. Aside from the fact that it comes as a glorious send-off to the late Puneeth Rajkumar, the film beautifully captures the natural heritage of Karnataka and highlights its myriad flora and fauna through an artistic lens.

Fans too have ensured that the film is a bona fide success and endeared by the superb response, the makers of Gandhada Gudi have made a special announcement to help the film reach more people in the coming days.

Film producer and wife of Puneeth Rajkumar, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, took to social media a short while ago to reveal that Gandhada Gudi will be made available at subsidised prices in cinema halls for a limited period of time. Starting November 7, Monday, the docu. film will be shown in single-screen theatres across Karnataka for a nominal price of Rs. 56 and Rs. 112 in multiplexes (all shows) till November 10, Thursday.

Ashwini, who serves as the producer of Gandhada Gudi under their home banner of PRK Productions, also stated in the announcement that the ticket prices are being slashed so that the film reaches as many Kannadigas as possible. And since the film, she adds, was made with the intent to showcase Karnataka's rich natural beauty to as many people as possible, the subsidised rates will only increase its reach.

Puneeth Rajkumar embarked on a rivetting journey with filmmaker and wildlife conservationist Amoghavarsha to traverse the many different land and waterscapes of Karnataka and document their explorations in the form of a film titled Gandhada Gudi. From rainforests in Agumbe to the beautiful diving site of Netrani Island, the film comprises several unexplored gems of the state.

Gandhada Gudi released in theatres on October 28 (the eve of Puneeth Rajkumar's first death anniversary) and put on a great performance at the box office in the initial few days. The film has grossed nearly Rs. 30 crores in a matter of 10 days and has been declared a commercial success.
