The trailer of Alia Bhatt’s much anticipated film, Gangubai Kathiawadi has just dropped, and she has taken charge all over the internet already. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial has left everyone in awe, with its powerful and exciting elements, especially Alia’s performance. 

Within hours of the release, the social media is all heaped with reactions from fans and celebrities. It seems they have been waiting for so long for this biographical project. Actress Anushka Sharma termed the trailer and the actor a ‘firecracker’, as it is so appealing and intense. Beginning with the slogans of ‘Gangubai Murdabaad’, the trailer also features Ajay Devgn. More interestingly, Vijay Raaz playing the role of an antagonist and transgender sex worker, will also leave everyones’ jaws dropped.

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram to express how impatient she is. “Please I can’t keep calm this beyond Insane!!! I can’t wait!! @aliabhatt you are a force of nature,” she wrote in excitement. When the cameras caught Ranbir Kapoor for a reaction, he gestured Alia’s hand movement from the trailer, which suggests it is ‘epic’.

Alia shared the trailer on her Instagram account and the comment section is now being bombed with several reactions. Siddhant Chaturvedi termed it as ‘Powerful’, while Shreya Ghoshal commented ‘Fire’ with an emoji. Mouni Roy could be seen going crazy as she seems to have liked Alia’s performance so much. “My bestest wishes A, you are a gift. Can’t wait to watch this gem,” she wrote. Meanwhile, director Shakun Bhatra also shared the trailer on his social media, and hailed it as ‘Bomb!!!’. 

Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to meet her audiences in theatres on February 25, 2022
