Gayathrie Shankar shares BTS picture of a crucial scene from Kamal Haasan's Vikram and reveals a secret

One of the biggest hits in Ulagayanayan Kamal Haasan's career, Vikram recently completed 100 days of release. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, had Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan. Suriya made a special appearance as Rolex. Even as the entire team is celebrating the success of the film, Gayathrie Shankar, who played Fahadh Faasil's girlfriend in the film, recently took to her social media handle to share a series of BTS pictures from the film.

While sharing the pictures, Gayathrie Shankar also revealed a ritual while shooting a dying scene in a film. She wrote, "When an actor performs a dying scene in a movie, it is customary to take a shot of them waking up and smiling at the camera. Somewhat like telling the universe that the scene was just acting and that the actor is alive and well. While shooting for my scene in #vikram we forgot to take that shot. The film has an ensemble cast including Narain, Chemban Jose Vinod, Arjun Das, Kalidas Jayaram, Santhanabharathi, Elango Kumaravel, Vasanthi, Shivani and Myna Nandhini among others. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander and the album went on to become a chartbuster. The cinematography was by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. The film, which is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's production house Rajkamal Films International, raked in the moolah at the box office. Vikram's satellite rights was acquired by Star Network and the digital rights was bagged by Disney + Hotstar and the film had a massive run as far as the streaming minutes are concerned.
