This evening, Kiccha Sudeep and his wife Priya were at the helm of affairs at the launch of the Vikrant Rona NFT membership. Priya, who heads the operations of Koffee and Bunn Innovation, their global investment company, has given Dubai-based Blocktickets the NFT ticketing rights, whereby die-hard fans of the Kannada superstar can purchase memberships for exclusive access to the Dubai premiere of Vikrant Rona. Starting at Rs 10,000 and going up to Rs 5 lakh, the membership options will give those availing it red carpet access, merchandise, autographed mugs, a picture with Sudeep or even the opportunity to party with him and have a 10-minute one-on-one conversation, as the case may be. Currently, the memberships are ideal for Dubai-based fans of the actor.

The NFT memberships are limited to 500, with each pass allowing two people entry to the premiere. The Diamond membership, for instance, is for only 10 lucky fans. Memberships are valid for a limited period only - for up to four films released by Kiccha Creations. The NFTs, meanwhile, will include images of personal items belonging to Sudeep, besides props and costumes used during the making of the film. Members registered on the site will be able to buy and sell NFTs on the marketplace in Indian rupees.

The first NFTs will drop on the Kichchaverse on July 24. The film, produced by Shalini and Manjunath Gowda for Shalini Artss, will release in theatres on July 28 in 3D. The film is being made available in five Indian languages, as well as versions in English, Arabic, German, Spanish, etc. However, the foreign language release may not be simultaneous on July 28. In India, the makers have tied up with Cinedubs to allow theatre audiences to watch the film in the language of their choice, even if the one playing onscreen is not it.
