Even as Chiranjeevi's film Godfather has at least one month to go before it hit theatres across the globe, the star is busy wrapping up all his current commitments. Godfather, the Telugu remake of Mohanlal's Lucifer, is certainly one among those commitments that the veteran is looking forward to completing, at the earliest. Directed by Mohan Raja, who has also penned the screenplay, the film has dialogues by Lakshmi Bhupal and stars Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, Biju Menon, Sunil in pivotal roles.
It's well known that Hindi star Salman Khan is making a special appearance in the film and he had started filming for his portions the previous week, along with Chiranjeevi and other actors. On Monday, Salman finished shooting for his cameo in Godfather and with it, the Mumbai schedule of the film also came to a close. Godfather will offer a great kick to audiences, no doubt about it, said Chiranjeevi recently.
The makers say that Salman's presence in the film and the sequences featuring him will be a major highlight for audiences. For the uninitiated, this is the first time that Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan will be sharing screen space in a film. Godfather will be a feast for fans of the two, the team assures. After the completion of the Mumbai schedule, the film producers RB Chowdary and NV Prasad met Salman on sets along with Chiranjeevi and Mohan Raja, an image of which was shared by the makers.
An announcement about Godfather's next schedule will be made shortly. Chiranjeevi's better half Konidela Surekha is the presenter of the film jointly producer under Konidela Productions and Super Good Films. S Thaman is composing the music for the film while Nirav Shah, Suresh Selvarajan handle cinematography and art direction.
