We’re approaching the end of another month of the year.. While we’ve binged on a number of web series and movies in the first half of June, there’s still a lot to look forward to, in the last week of the month. Bringing to you a perfect ending to the month of June and arriving with a bang are these seven movies and web series that explore fresh narratives. Starting with Samantha Akkineni and Manoj Bajpayee starrer The Family Man 2, June has proved to be packed with entertainment of all sorts. Here are some of the most-awaited movies and shows that will knock on your door at the end of June:

Grahan

The period drama coming to Disney+Hotstar on June 24, is built around the 1984 riots of Bokaro and how its repercussions are felt in the present day. The eight-episode Hotstar special revolves around the story of a young IPS Officer, Amrita Singh (played by Zoya Hussain) who is made in charge of a special investigation from the past only to discover that her father, Gursevak (played by Pawan Malhotra) is the one accused of the heinous crime. Torn between family and duty, the show chronicles Amrita's journey as she unravels the truth behind the mystery, affecting her professional as well as personal life.

Dhoop ki Deewar

Building on the hype around Pakistani dramas, Dhoop ki Deewar is an upcoming Zee5 exclusive and Zindagi Original drama series. The story revolves around the lives of Sara and Vishal who find themselves caught in an ugly social media encounter after they lose their fathers due to the age-old tensions at the borders. As they navigate through their loss together, they develop a bond, unlike others. Weekly episodes of the show will premiere from June 25.

Ray

The anthology series is a tribute to one of the greatest filmmakers of India, Satyajit Ray. Set to premiere on Netflix on June 25, the series is a compilation of stories inspired by the works of the visionary filmmaker. Giving life to Ray's timeless stories, the anthology will touch upon his short tales like Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa, Forget Me Not, Behrupiya and Spotlight. With an excellent star cast on board, be ready for a ride filled with twists, turns and thrills.

LOL Salaam

The upcoming Zee5 Original Telugu web series, LOL Salaam is a humorous story of friendship. The series revolves around the story of five friends en route a trip, who are trapped in an unexpected situation after their car breaks down. With ruckus going all around, one of the friends unknowingly steps on a landmine. The comic thriller series is set to release on Jun 25 on Zee5.

Thaen

The SonyLiv exclusive Tamil movie is based on real-life incidents. It is the story of an economically backward husband's heartbreaking journey as he carries his dead wife on his shoulders to the crematory as he is unable to pay for the mortuary van. Set in the backdrops of rural India, the movie is a heart-wrenching one, ready to premiere on SonyLiv on June 25.

LKG

The Tamil political satire movie revolves around the story of Lalgudi Karuppiah Gandhi (LKG), a councillor of a small town, who aspires to become the Chief Minister of his state. In an attempt to achieve his dream, he enlists the help of corporates to impress the public and ends up facing threats from a powerful politician. The much-awaited movie is set to release on Aha on June 25.

Jiivi

The Tamil thriller drama revolves around the story of an underprivileged man. Living his life with the bare minimum means he has, he goes on to plan a heist and even gets away with it. The movie received much appreciation from fans and critics for its exceptional screenplay and intelligent script. The Telugu dubbed version of the movie is now set to stream on Aha from June 25.
