Guns & Gulaabs: T J Bhanu roped in to play the leading lady in Dulquer Salmaan, Rajkummar Rao's Netflix series

The highly gifted writer-director team has an amazing body of work, and they have kicked off their Netflix creative cooperation with the hilarious series Guns & Gulaabs, which will be produced by D2R Films. After announcing Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan and Rajkummar Rao as the leading men of the series, the female lead has been unveiled.

Yes, Vazhl actor T J Bhanu has been roped in to be the leading lady of Guns and Gulaabs. Netflix India took to their Twitter page and shared her photo with a quirky caption. Bhanu is featured in the 2021 Tamil film Vazhl, which is currently streaming on SonyLIV. She has also played a pivotal role in The Forgotten Army-Azaadi Ke Liye, streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Meanwhile, Guns & Gulaabs is a story about love and innocence set in a world of crime, inspired by the world's misfits. The project is designed to combine a romance from the 1990s with a crime thriller, all while maintaining a sense of humour.
