Richa Chadha is preparing for her new series, Heeramandi, which will be helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The actress has begun Kathak classes in preparation for her new series.
During her formative years, the actress reportedly had taken training in Kathak and she is now brushing up her skills. Richa has earlier been seen several times outside Bhansali's workplace.
According to a source close to the development of the project Heeramandi marks the digital debut of the filmmaker and it is one of the most ambitious projects of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The source further added, “It being his digital debut makes it even more special and challenging at the same time as one has to put their best foot forward."
As per the insider, Richa has been practising Kathak for about two weeks. Her training will continue for another few days. The actress has also been conducting look tests for the programme and will be playing a pivotal part in the future show.

Heeramandi, which is inspired by the renowned Red Light District in Lahore, became the main topic of conversation not only in India but also in Pakistan.
Heeramandi was also known as the royal domain while it was controlled by Hira Singh, son of Raja Ranjit Singh.
Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Richa Chadha, Nimrat Kaur, and Sayani Gupta are set to appear in the period drama, which highlights love, remorse, and politics in the life of socialites.
Heeramandi's release date is yet to be confirmed or announced. However, produced by Netflix Studios, it will soon be available on the OTT platform.
