Here's when the much-awaited update from Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan will be revealed

Fans of Suriya have been yearning for an update from Etharkkum Thunindhavan from a long time. The first look and second look of the project were unveiled on the star's birthday a few months ago. However, there hasn't been any major update from the movie since then.

The family action drama has been bankrolled by Sun Pictures which was busy promoting Rajinikanth's Annaatthe till recently. As the Deepavali release hit the screens more than two weeks ago, looks like the production house might come up with regular updates on Etharkkum Thunindhavan

Now, the leading production house has surprised movie lovers by announcing that an update is in the offing. They also released a new picture of Suriya along with the tweet to inform that the much-awaited update will be out on November 19 at 12 pm. 

The actor is seen attired in a veshti and a red shirt in the still posted from the social media handle of Sun Pictures. 

The movie, which has Suriya and Pandiraj teaming up after Pasanga 2, features Priyanka Mohan as the female lead. Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, MS Bhaskar, Soori, Pugazh and Ramar among others will be seen essaying crucial characters in the project which has Imman composing music and Rathnavelu cranking the camera. 

Fans hope that the update will be regarding the film's release date. There are speculation doing the rounds that the movie might be released for Pongal, taking Ajith's Valimai at the box office. Earlier, the makers of Dhanush's Maaran had told us that the release announcement of their movie depends on the release plans of Etharkkum Thunindhavan. For now, it's fingers crossed for Kollywood movie buffs.
