The trailer for How I Met Your Father has been dropped by Hulu. Featuring Hillary Duff in the lead role, the series is a spin-off of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother from 2005 to 2014. In the new trailer, the makers already showed how Duff as Sophie looks in the near future, and that's played by none other than Kim Cattrall. The trailer shows Sophie trying her hand at dating and not having much luck.

She is heard saying, "I know it sounds crazy, but I've been on 87 Tinder dates this year," while Sophie acknowledges, realising that "it's really hard to meet someone, connect, and have it feel easy" in these perplexing times.

However, on the subway, she declares, "Today is the first chapter of my next great love story," apparently unfazed by the number of failed dates she's had.

Duff is joined by a bunch of friends, and they are a house on fire in New York City. Duff features alongside Chris Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Suraj Sharma in supporting roles. The series is set to stream on Hulu starting January 18, 2022.

On January 18, 2022, Hulu will premiere How I Met Your Father.

The series is created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. While How I Met Your Mother creators Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Pamela Fryman are the executive producers,
